Sideways is designated as a Trent-Severn Trail Town Friendly Business!
A Trail Town is a destination along a long-distance Trail. Our trail is a Waterway Trail. Along the Waterway, each of our Trail Town communities welcome visitors traveling by motor vehicles, boaters, paddlers, hikers and cyclists with warm hospitality and pride of place. They support trail visitors needs with food, retail and overnight accommodations, activities and attractions.
Sideways Bar and Grill came to life on August 24, 2018, as a restaurant in Campbellford
The Sideways Menu is diversified and includes something for every palate.
We offer bar style food such as Jumbo Chicken Wings, which people comment as being the best wings in Campbellford and the area of Trent Hills and Northumberland. We also have a touch of Greek food menu items, including our Saganaki Opa! Which is pan fried Greek cheese that is flambéed right at your table. It is one of the best appetizers ever!
Sideways Trail Town Lager Beer by Church Key Brewery
Sideways and Church Key Brewery have partnered up to create a refreshing locally brewed beer in support of our Trail Town initiatives.
The Pour:
In the glass, It’s a nice bright golden. About a finger of head forms; just slightly off-white, big froth bubbles. Drops quickly, but holds with a nice thin cap at the surface. Carbonation is medium-high.
The Aroma:
On the nose, Sideways Trail Town Lager presents a subtle hop profile of lemons, lightly herbal. Light malt, is pretty apparent but then notes of sweet grainy dough. Pleasant.
